I have two special announcements to make:

You will remember that you were asked to nominate someone for the position of Treasurer on the Gloriosa Board. We received two nominations - Elsa Bain and Carina Munday. Both candidates were introduced by their nominators at last night's gathering at Lyttelton-Oos NG. The voting was done prayerfully during the communion service and the person who has been elected as Treasurer is Carina Munday. Congratulations Carina and thank you for your willingness to do the Lord's work. We know that you are going to be a blessing as you serve the Lord on the Board.
It is my pleasure to announce the Community Lay Director for 2011 - Jean Stelling. I quote Alan Dives, who said "when the Lord calls people to serve, He not only appoints them, He also anoints them. Jean, you have been appointed and anointed. God bless you as you prepare to serve Him in leading the community next year.
